When I first published this book on the 2nd of August i really did want it to be free for you guys. But with hectic life and a new job (Yay go me!) But I have finally worked out KDP!

So as of RIGHT NOW

PHASER IS FREE!

I have included a little snippet to give you a bit of an idea of what it about!

Dread settles deep in Jason’s stomach when he sees Thomas and Bradley sprinting through the yard. Jason jogs the way the two boys had come from.

Maddie feels the burn over both sides of her ribs as she tries to regain control of her breathing. In and out as rhythmically as possible. She manages to shuffle back to the wall for support as Jason came hurtling around the corner.

“Jesus. What the hell happened?” Jason kneels at the side of her. “This is getting out of hand. Come on,” Jason helps her up. Maddie cries digging her fingers into his arm.

“I can manage on my own.”

“Okay, okay,” Jason nods setting her down again. “This is assault.”

Maddie shakes her head. Tears mixing with the splattered blood on her face. He stands back taking her hand to help her up knowing she needs to trust him before he gets close. Using his stability and the wall she manages to get to her feet, but her head throbs and throws her off balance again.

“Easy, just lean on me,” Jason pleads. “You need to get checked out.”

It became too much hard work to protest, instead succumbed to his request allowing him to pick her up.

“Will they come back?”

“No. Put your arms around my neck.”

“Jason, I can’t breathe.”

“It’s okay, you are just in shock, listen to me and focus on me. You are doing great, just a bit longer.”

As he comes through the main door there was a flood of teachers fuss and ask questions, but it is only Charlie Jason needs.

“Jason, what happened?” He manages to get through the crowd of teachers around him.

“It was Bradley and Thomas, I saw them running off. I found her on the floor.” Jason explains.
